Welcome new Cougars Den publisher Baileigh Sheffield!

It is an exciting time at the University of Houston, with its impending move to the Big 12 kicking off a new era of Cougar athletics. It is also a new era here at Cougars Den, with Houston graduate Baileigh Sheffield taking over as publisher.

Sheffield is a veteran of Rivals, having previously written for Cougars Den as well as The Hill Topics, Rivals’ SMU site. Her experience as a University of Houston cheerleader provides Sheffield with a strong understanding of the UH culture and fan base, and she brings a broad multi-media skill set to the site.
