Tune Commits to Houston

Houston head coach Major Applewhite and new Houston offensive coordinator Kendal Briles concluded their full-court press on their top remaining target this weekend as Carrollton (TX) three-star quarterback Clayton Tune was in Houston for his official visit.

Tune spent the majority of his Saturday with Applewhite and Briles, had meetings and took a tour of the campus before ultimately deciding to pull the trigger and commit to Houston.

Tune, who plans to enroll early and will go through spring workouts, closes out an impressive 2018 class for Applewhite and Houston.

Tune is still technically on his official visit to Houston, but we'll look to reach out to Houston's newest Coog after his official visit wraps up on Sunday to get his thoughts on his decision and more.
