The Dolphins selected Houston’s Patrick Paul in the second round of the NFL draft, pick No. 55.
Coming out of high school, Paul was a two-star offensive tackle with only four offers and one powerhouse five school coming out of high school.
Paul is a Houston, Texas native.
A first-team All-American, Paul started 12 games for Houston last year and 13 games the previous year. In 2021, he started 14 games.
Paul allowed only one sack in 565 pass-block situations and, as a senior, had the highest pass-blocking grade among tackles nationally at 91.5.
This is an excellent pick for Miami.
