If you've been browsing around Cullen Blvd. here on Cougars Den, you've likely been aware for several weeks now that Houston held a silent commitment that wasn't quite ready to go public with his decision.
While a lot of Houston fans voiced concerned over the idea of a silent commitment, any question marks were laid to rest on Sunday when Mansfield (TX) Legacy receiver Ife Adeyi decided to go public with his commitment and announce his decision to commit to Houston.
The 5-foot-9, 160-pound receiver told Cougars Den that he was waiting to go public until he was able to take additional visits. We haven't yet confirmed whether or not those visits came to fruition, but regardless the fact is Adeyi is now a 2019 commitment for the Houston Cougars.
Adeyi is the third commitment for the Cougars at the receiver position joining the likes of Josh Lister and Ke'Andre Street.
Adeyi chose Houston over other offers from Georgetown, New Mexico State, Southern Miss, Texas State and Tulane.
