Four-Star safety Jayden Bradley from Prosper Rock Hill High School has committed to the University of Houston, giving the Cougars a massive boost to their 2025 recruiting class. Bradley is one of the most versatile defensive backs in the 2025 class in Texas. Houston extended an offer to Bradley on June 1st after seeing him at the TCU Mega Camp. He becomes the 20th commit in the Cougars' 2025 class.
Bradley has a versatile skill set that allows him to be a playmaker. His long, lean, athletic frame gives him excellent range, allowing him to cover a large portion of the field and excel in pass coverage. His ball skills are exceptional, as he demonstrates the ability to track the ball in the air and make plays on it. Bradley has the speed to cover ground in a hurry on the back end of the defense. This season for Rock Hill, Bradley has played significant snaps at cornerback. He thrives in one-on-one matchups, which was evident in his most recent game during the second week of the season, where he lined up at both cornerback and safety, allowing no catches while registering 15 tackles. Bradley also demonstrated his playmaking ability by intercepting a pass and returning it for a touchdown. He also contributed on special teams adding a 55-yard punt return for another score.
Houston’s secondary will benefit immediately from Bradley’s arrival on campus. With his elite athleticism, football IQ, and versatility, Bradley should compete for significant playing time. With the Cougars playing against high-powered offenses in the Big 12, Bradley’s presence in the secondary adds value to the Cougars defensively. Jayden Bradley’s commitment is a huge win for the University of Houston.
