The Houston Cougars officially started back to work on Monday afternoon but for a lot of the program's top players, the work has been going on since the end of last season.



One player who was a surprising bright spot for the Cougars last season was freshman safety Trevon Stewart who couldn't be kept off the field beginning with his work as soon as he got to campus less than a year ago.



One tremendous season later followed by plenty of post-season accolades and Stewart is seen as one of the key returning pieces to the Cougars' defense. We caught up with the talented defender to get his thoughts on getting back on the field as a team and what is next for him.
